Description
Coriandrum sativum, a plant from the Apiaceae family, also called cilantro or Chinese parsley, is a globally important crop used as vegetable, spice, fragrance and traditional medicine. Coriander has important medicinal value. Coriander stems and leaves can be used to increase appetite, comfort the stomach and improve digestion, and coriander fruit exhibits gut modulatory, blood pressure lowering and diuretic activities.
