Description
Balanophora harlandii is mainly distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, and Yunnan provinces of China, growing in the humid soil humus of the forest shade at an altitude of 600 – 2100 m. The whole plant is a folk medicine used as a tonic and for the treatment of hemorrhoids, stomachache, and hemoptysis.
